I started my career illustrating children's books. In my earlier work, I used watercolour. I then moved onto pen and inks as the colours are more intense. 'Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids' is done in black and white using ink and Tippex to achieve the dark and scary style required for this book (see examples below).
I now work with a mixture of ink drawings enhanced in Photoshop, or scanning rough drawings into the computer and then painting them in Photoshop.
